Planet Technologies is seeking multiple full-time results-oriented, self-motivated SharePoint Developer who will be supporting SharePoint migrations and other development initiatives.
Candidates must have experience developing complex business applications, not just simple SP tools.
At a minimum, candidates must have at least 3 years of experience with the following development technologies / languages:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying legacy code, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
Executes within an Agile SDLC framework
Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using SharePoint Online and Office 365
Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards
Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
Build Proof of Concept and Early Adopter examples or graphical simulation software; then maintain product test software and demos for training purposes
Actively participate in Product Design Reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Develop documentation to improve current operating procedures
Must be flexible and able to work nights/weekends as needed to support planned and unplanned maintenance and troubleshooting events
The successful candidate will demonstrate self-initiative and be able to operate with little to no supervision.
Must have strong time management, multi-tasking, organization and administrative skills and must be proficient with Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Candidate will need to provide weekly status reports on all supporting efforts
Position Requirements
Past employment supporting the U.
S.
Federal government and/or military experience is a plus
A current Microsoft Certification is a plus
Candidates must already possess a Bachelor’s degree
Candidates should have at least 3 or more years of experience performing similar or comparable work in an environment of similar scale and complexity
Candidates must be flexible and have prior experience supporting at least one or more large complex migration to Office 365
Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English equivalent to a native speaker
Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and be able to communicate efficiently and effectively
Candidates must be able to work well with clients and team members of all levels
