Wilcoxon is seeking a 2nd shift assembler to assemble equipment according to established procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES Work with a team to assemble entire products or components Rotate through tasks for specific production processes Conduct quality inspections on products and parts Prepare finished products for shipment Maintain a clean and orderly work area Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repairs/rework in consultation with Engineering Trains other assemblers as needed Perform accurate record keeping Follow established assembly procedures Adhere to safety guidelines and ESD guidelines QUALIFICATIONS Experience/Background Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related field This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Skills Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment Ability to read and understand assembly drawings Knowledge of soldering Knowledge of mixing and application of adhesives and potting compounds Ability to handle physical workload Ability to work well in teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Education High school Diploma or equivalent.
ENVIRONMENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Manufacturing / Non-Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
Work may be performed in an office or warehouse environment.
Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, or climb.
May have possible exposure to dust and may require the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds 33% - 66% of the time.
