Description:
The Miracle League of Montgomery County, MD, is seeking passionate and dedicated Baseball Coaches to join our team for the upcoming spring season.
As a coach, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and adults with disabilities by providing guidance, support, and encouragement during baseball games.
Responsibilities:
- Assist players with disabilities during baseball games, ensuring they have a positive and enjoyable experience.
- Provide instruction and guidance on basic baseball skills and techniques.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all players, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Communicate effectively with players, families, and league organizers.
- Attend mandatory coach meetings and training sessions as required.
- Uphold the values and mission of the Miracle League of Montgomery County, MD.
Requirements:
- Previous experience coaching baseball preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of all abilities.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to attending at least 80% of games.
- Must pass a background check.
