Job Description Havertys is hiring an Interior Design Consultant for Dulles, Virginia showroom! As the furniture business continues to grow in these unprecedented times, our Interior Designers are earning between $65,000 - $80,000 per year with no cap! We are offering up to $12,000 guaranteed salary for the first 90 days of employment.
New hires will be guaranteed to make no less than $4,000 per month for their first 3 months.

A few facts about a Havertys Interior Design Selling Consultant: The Interior Design Selling Consultant will work with our professional sales consultants to discover our customers' needs.
They help them create a warm and inviting home by helping the client select furniture and accessories while providing design services.

We offer a guaranteed income base plus an uncapped commission structure.
Our Interior Design Selling Consultants are paid hourly plus commission and typically earn $65,000-$70,000 on average with no cap! Job Requirements You will: Schedule and attend home design visits convenient to the Customer’s schedule individually or accompanied by management as needed.
Will build a comprehensive presentation to include pictures of the customer’s space, 2-D and 3-D room plans, and product selection that includes furniture and accessories to complete the customer’s vision.
Coordinates with the decision-maker(s) during the home visit and the final presentation to review the items selected, pricing, and delivery schedules, if applicable.
Reinforce customer selections, explain special financing plans, delivery procedures, warranties, etc.
and help bring sale to closure.
Coordinate delivery between customer and distribution/delivery system using My Sales Center.

A.
in Interior Design or related field or 2 to 4 years related experience (is preferred) and/or Interior Design training or equivalent combination of education and experience ASID Certification preferred Ability to work a retail schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Must have a current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Must be able to drive and provide reliable personal transportation to Customer in-home appointments Excellent preparation and organizational skills Positive and engaging personality Creative flare and energetic attitude Computer proficiency including email experience required; knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and Room Planner software; Tablet/iPad operation abilities strongly preferred Disclaimer This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
