ISO dog for loving, active home (NOVA)

Hello! I am looking to add an active, loving, young dog to our small family.
I live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood, we have 2 dog parks, one fenced in.
I work from home and walk 3-5 miles a day, and on weekends I am on hikes or outdoor adventures - looking to add a protective, furry companion! I'm a home owner, so I promise to provide a stable, safe home to your pet that needs to be rehomed.
We also have a family farm that is fenced in where the dog will be taken to in order to run around and enjoy.
**I do have a cat and need the dog to be SAFE for small child.

I am happy to pay a rehoming fee if dog comes with supplies, otherwise would prefer to use the money to buy nice things for the pup.
