Neutered male Dutch Rex rabbit for sale.
He is very friendly and sociable.
He will jump up on the couch with you and explore.
He loves it when you pretend to "chase" him while you are on the floor hopping around with him.
His favorite spots to be pet are the top of his head, his ears, back of his neck, and if he's completely relaxed he will even let you pet his cheeks.
He is not a fan of being picked up but will flop next to you on the floor or in bed/on the couch.
He's very active and is used to being free-roaming.
He will not do well in a cage.
He has been around cats and children aged 9-15 and has had no issues, he actually loves playing with the cats.
He is still under a year old so will need access to unlimited food pellets in addition to unlimited hay until mid-April.
He comes with his litter box, hay holder, and any leftover food/litter/hay we have.
He would best go to a house that has experience with rabbits.
I would also ask that if you decide he's not a good fit, please return him to me instead of the shelter so he doesn't get euthanized due to lack of space in the shelter.
