*Our Practice* Outdoor Therapeutics is a mental health private practice in Frederick, MD that specializes in nature-based clinical treatment and wellness programs for holistic healing.
We serve youth and adults struggling with a wide range of mental health challenges through unique and accessible treatment models.

*Qualifications * * Has obtained an initial or clinical license (LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, LCMFT) * Willingness to be credentialed with Cigna, UnitedHealth and BCBS/Carefirst * Experience working successfully with vulnerable populations living with mental health challenges ranging from intermittent anxiety to complex developmental trauma * Desire to build skills and expertise in the areas of nature-informed therapy, trauma, and holistic approaches to human health.
* Track record of creative, innovative, and interdisciplinary approaches to mental health treatment * Confidence in working with teens, adults, and families * Ability to be organized timely with clinical documentation, including weekly progress notes and treatment planning * Dependability and independence with administrative tasks and case management * Authorized to work legally in the United States and able to pass a background check *Responsibilities * *Part-Time* therapists (20 hours) are required to maintain a minimum caseload of 12 active clients / week.
*Full-Time *therapists (36 hours) maintain a minimum caseload of 22 active clients.
Other responsibilities include: * Ability to adjust to telehealth, in-office, or in-nature counseling sessions * Facilitation of one annual wellness program or clinical group * Assistance with nature-informed therapy curricula for youth or adult programming * Contribution to peer consultation groups and in-house staff education * Assurance that clinical services are delivered in accordance with licensing boards, pertinent laws, industry best practices, and code of ethics * Ongoing desire to expand and build knowledge of clinical treatment through participation in professional development opportunities * Familiarity with HIPAA and other regulations that protect patient rights * Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, families, and partners * Contributions to community outreach and education about practice offerings * Completion of documentation accurately by the schedule set forth by the practice using the practice’s electronic health records system *Salary / Wages* Part-time and full-time therapists are W2 positions eligible for benefits.
Pay for this role is commensurate with the employee’s license level and the services offered (i.
e.
, hourly rate for a therapist with a clinical license providing individual therapy is $75-80/hour).
Part-time positions are required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week including a minimum of 12 hours of direct client care.
Full-time positions are required to work a minimum of 36 hours per week including a minimum of 22 hours of direct client care.
Clinical caseloads are built progressively over 60 days from hire.
This position reports to the practice owner and the clinical director.
