Dog - $100 (Thurmont)

Beautiful, sweet dog that needs to be rehomed.
Daisy is a 3yr old blue heeler/catahoula mix.
She is spayed, utd on shots, and has been microchipped.
She is VERY friendly with all dogs and humans.
She is well trained on basic commands and is a great car rider/traveler.
She's been on a cross country hiking trip with us and did fabulous! She happily comes when you call and will not try to escape or run off.
She thankfully has grown out of her chewing phase and has not chewed anything for at least 1.
5yrs.
She has never shown aggression towards humans in any way, but she is food aggressive towards other dogs.
So we kennel her when she's fed.
She's also a food hound.
So her dog food should not be left where she can get at it.
We love this dog so much and are committed to finding her a wonderful, loving family! She has a very strong prey drive with small animals (other than dogs).
Try as we might for the last 3 years, we have not been able to train that out of her.
Which is why she needs to find a new home.
She would do well with a decent size yard or someone who exercises her regularly.
She's a fantastic hiking, walking, running, and traveling partner! She absolutely needs a family that will love on her every day and she doesn't mind snuggling up either! We have a toddler and an infant that she does amazing with and has always been very gentle.
