Driver

Job Responsibilities: 1.
Follow assigned route and adhere to established schedules.
2.
Drive bus to and from extracurricular activities.
3.
Pick up and drop off clients 4.
Check bus for mechanical defects before and after each operation and notify supervisor of needed repairs.
5.
Report all accidents, vehicle damage, student injuries, mechanical failure, and complete required reports.
6.
Keep records on bus mileage, gas and oil consumption, and number of passengers transported.
7.
Keep assigned bus clean and fueled.
8.
Help clients with disabilities get on and off bus according to their individual needs.
9.
Learn and adapt to each student’s special medical, physical, communicative, and emotional needs.

Supervise students as they board and leave bus and cross street *Requirements:* a) Valid drivers license b) Valid car Insurance c) Current driving record d) Background check e) Vaccination card f) Current CPR/First aid g) Experience driving special needs individuals is preferable Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.
00 per hour Day range: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Shift: * 8 hour shift Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: * School bus driving: 1 year (Preferred) * transporting individuals with disabilities: 1 year (Required) Work Location: On the road
