The Senior Developer will be a pivotal part of the team responsible for the development, enhancement, and management of a Platform for Research and Administration, consisting of two custom business applications.
Bringing seasoned expertise in software development and system architecture, the role demands a blend of technical acumen, leadership capabilities, and a persistent focus on delivering robust, high-quality software solutions.
*Qualifications:*
* *Education:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
*Experience:* Minimum of 5 years of software development experience, with a solid track record in managing complex software projects.
*Skills:*
* Strong expertise in software development and system architecture.
* Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development tools.
* Robust knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
*Certifications:* Relevant certifications in programming or software development are advantageous.
*Responsibilities:*
* Lead and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including conception, development, deployment, and maintenance.
* Create robust, scalable, and secure software solutions that align with architectural principles and standards.
* Provide technical leadership to the development team, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring best practices are adhered to.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, formulate solutions, and ensure optimal integration of the applications.
* Ensure the robustness, performance, and resiliency of applications developed, employing thorough testing and validation practices.
* Manage version control, and adhere to development and documentation standards.
